Seoul is served by two world-class international airports: Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport.
Both airports offer travelers with easy transportation options to downtown Seoul by bus, train, or taxi.
Incheon International Airport
The first is the more modern and larger Incheon International Airport (IATA Code ICN). This airport is located 69 kilometers (43 miles) west of downtown Seoul in the city of Incheon. Most international passengers, including those from the United States, will arrive here.
Gimpo International Airport
The second airport is the older and smaller Gimpo International Airport (IATA Code GMP). This airport is located on the western outskirts of the city, south of the Han River. If you are flying from destinations in South Korea, China, or Japan, then you may likely arrive here.
