Seonodae (Western Crossbow Tower) is a raised structure that was used by archers using crossbows to attack unsuspecting enemies from all directions below.

It is located adjacent to Seojangdae (Western Command Post).

The octagonal structure, built on the summit of Mount Paldalsan, is constructed of brick. Its location allows for a full view of the surrounding area.

There are two similar towers at the fortress. The other is Dongbuknodae (Northeastern Crossbow Tower).
