Dongichi (동이치), the eastern turret II, is a chi or section of the fortress that projects from the wall. Chi refers to a pheasant bird who has the ability to use camouflage to hide from the enemy.

These stone structures are placed along regular intervals along the wall which were used to attack unsuspecting enemy troops from above. There are a total of ten of these structures found along the walls of the fortress.

The location of the turret is between Dongporu (Eastern Sentry Post) and Bongdon (Beacon Signals).
